In this session, the presenter will demonstrate her curriculum design and teaching practices in integrating the Social Justice Framework into her secondary-level Chinese language classrooms at two proficiency levels(novice-low and intermediate-mid). Participants will learn about the Social Justice Framework, the significance of addressing social justice in language classrooms, common learning activities of teaching social justice, and also see examples of how to transform a regular lesson or unit into a learning journey driven by the mission of social justice.
