Interpersonal communication is a foundational skill at every level of language learning. Maximizing limited class time by centering student language production in and out of the classroom is of paramount importance, particularly student-to-student interpersonal communication. This presentation will give an overview of the various possibilities for successful interpersonal communication practice in both virtual and face-to-face contexts and offer tips based on the presenters’ experiences and student feedback this year. The session will also provide resources to facilitate interpersonal communication in various groupings in and out of the classroom.
